External Quality Assurance qualifications available for people working within quality assurance with an Awarding Organisation or Accreditation Body.

The current suite of qualifications for External Quality Assurers (EQA) replaces the V2 qualification that was previously offered by Awarding Organisations, aiming to provide a clear understanding of the principles and practices of quality assurance within the QCF / RQF.
This is ideal for people who are working as quality assurers and those looking to move into a role as an external quality assurer.
People undertaking these qualifications may be working with regulated qualifications, accredited learning or non-accredited learning programmes.

Progression Routes: What's Next?
Following the completion of your External Quality Assurance qualification you will be able to move into an external quality assurance role (if you are not already). We help all of our learners to find EQA roles either before, during or after the course. You could go on to take the Level 4 Certificate in Leading External Quality Assurance if you are working as a Lead EQA.

When can I start?
Immediately, this course can be accessed online. Choose between our range of one to one course package options (fully loaded, express or support) giving you the chance to decide how you’d like to learn.

How long will it take?List Item 1
This qualification can be completed as quickly as you require. The assessment is designed around the self-study process so you can submit your work as soon as you are ready.

Can I become an EQA by gaining this qualification?List Item 2
It depends on the qualification you take. There is a knowledge only Award for anyone and a knowledge / practical Award for those already in an EQA role. You can complete additional units to make up a full external quality assurance qualification once you gain an EQA role.

Do you help find EQA roles?List Item 3
Yes we do. As part of our added service we will help anyone who is not yet in an EQA role to find and apply for opportunities. Once in a role you’ll be able to complete the practical unit and achieve the full qualification.
