The current suit of qualifications are ideal for anyone wanting to become an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) or requiring the qualification to work as an IQA.
These Internal Quality Assurance qualifications were also developed following the LLUK review in 2010. The Award has replaced the V1 and D34 qualifications and focuses on monitoring the quality of assessment within the Qualifications and Credit Framework (now the Regulated Qualifications Framework - RQF) and how different the process of quality assurance has become.
The Certificate has been introduced to allow people who manage teams of quality assurers to obtain an appropriate qualification.

Progression Routes: What's Next?
Following the completion of your Internal Quality Assurance qualification you could go on to take other relevant courses such as the Level 4 Certificate in Leading Internal Quality Assurance or the Level 4 Award in Externa Quality Assurance.

When can I start?
Immediately, this course can be accessed online. Choose between our range of one to one course package options (fully loaded, express or support) giving you the chance to decide how you’d like to learn.

How long will it take?List Item 1
There is no set time frame but the qualification on average takes around 6-12 months to complete. We will plan a timescale that fits your needs.

How many Assessors do I need to work with?List Item 2
You need to have access to at least 2 different Assessor to quality assure and gather evidence towards your qualification. We can talk to you about the requirements for this.

Am I a fully qualified IQA once I have completed the qualification?List Item 3
You are a fully qualified IQA once you have completed this qualification and you’ll be able to IQA within your own area of expertise.
